Our journey with Brandy began months before we were engaged when my now-husband, Garrett reached out to her for assistance with his proposal. She was so willing to assist him with coordination at Messina Hof; she spoke with the venue staff, coordinated with the photographer, checked on the champagne, but best of all, I’m pretty sure she was a calming force for Garrett as well. The proposal was perfectly intimate and perfectly timed. After the proposal, but before our meal, she congratulated us, thanked us and departed for her wedding that afternoon. Her true talent is making her client(s) feel like they are her only priority regardless of who else is on her schedule.

So, I already had my venue picked. It was no doubt The Farmhouse! We were engaged on Friday, and I had Garrett out there on Monday. Done deal. When it came to looking for coordinators, I knew what I wanted, but knew it would be tricky to find: someone who could execute my vision and organize our big day. I was looking for a day-of coordinator, but sometimes those are the hardest to connect with because you’ve controlled so much of your big day and it’s hard to relinquish. It had to be the right person! With me in Houston and Garrett in College Station, we began our search in Houston. After meeting with a Houston planner a couple of times, I was left feeling frustrated and uninspired – I was looking for someone to take away my stress, not add to it. I remembered sweet Brandy! After all, she had coordinated the best day of our lives thus far! Picked up that phone, drove to College Station and never looked back!

From Day 1, Brandy lays it all out! I received a folder the first day we met with information for days. She made sure that she understood my vision, and she shared personal experiences, as well as her personal opinion. She is a true professional.

Though Garrett and I didn’t pay for full coordination, she was always available through the planning process to answer any questions and give vendor recommendations. She was always available. About one month out, she came through in a big way! Meeting my mom and I at The Farmhouse for a walkthrough, making vendor phone calls, working on my seating plan and joining us for our rehearsal at La Torretta the evening before – but, the list goes on and on.

She is comforting and reassuring. If she’s nervous, you never see it! Garrett and I were her priority on our big day, along with our parents! Her team is enthusiastic, kind, reliable and quick to respond. Several members of our wedding party commented on her kindness and realness.

Garrett and I were so honored to get married at The Farmhouse in May! We truly had the time of our lives. Brandy assisted in all of that! She worked well with the incredible venue staff and our wedding guests! It is our hope that Brandy can continue to give to other couples what she gave us on our journey to The Farmhouse.
