Washington County Sewage Council Operating Committee
January 5, 2023 9:00A. M.
The Regular Meeting of the Operating Committee of the Washington County Sewage Council met on January 5, 2023 and was called to order at 9:05 A.M. by Crystal Brown, Chair.
Jodi Noble, Treasurer, Tyler Linck, Stephanie Pettit and Lars Lange were present.
Ill. ADMINISTRATIVE
Mr. Linck made a motion to approve the minutes from the December 8, 2022 meeting as presented. Mrs. Noble seconded. All members present voting yes, motion carried.
A motion was made by Ms. Pettit to approve the payroll and bills list, which was seconded by Mr. Linck. All members voting yes, motion carried.
IV UNFINISHED BUSINESS
Revised SEO Contract was discussed. The contracts have no changes and will be presented for signatures to SEO's in January.
Mr. Cassidy stated that WCSC charges for dye tests are now $155.00. He feels that a raise to $175.00 is needed. A motion was made by Mrs. Noble and seconded by Lars Lange to increase the current dye test fee from $155.00 to
$175.00 immediately. All members voting yes, the motion carried.
NEW BUSINESS
There has been an ongoing issue at 405 Hays Road, Peters Township that involves
a neighbor dispute. Mr. Cassidy made a site visit and saw no malfunction. He advised the homeowner to have a dye test performed to help settle this dispute.
A dye test will be performed upon the homeowner's return from a vacation.
Mrs. Noble stated that the Full Council should consider a new Dye Test Ordinance. Ms. Brown feels the Full Council should consider new Resolutions also for all participating municipalities.
