Form 990 Return of Organization Exempt from Income Tax are due May 15th. All Alumni chapters must file their own 990, this is NOT done as a group under the State or National Associations. Who Must File: Most organizations exempt from income tax must file an annual information return (Form 990 or 990-EZ) or submit an annual electronic notice (Form 990-N), depending upon the organization's gross receipts and total assets. OHIO ATTORNEY GENERAL
The annual filings are due on the 15th day of the fifth month following the close of a fiscal year. For example, if a group’s fiscal year ends Dec. 31, the filing is due on May 15. The office does not grant extensions but abides by extensions granted by the IRS. Reminder that chapter dues for August 1, 2022 to July 31, 2023 are due. Ohio Alumni chapters dues are $ 100.00 and National Alumni chapter dues are $ 100.00. Please update your chapter rosters on www.ffa.org and mail your dues of $ 200.00 made payable to Ohio FFA Alumni Association or pay on ffa.org by credit card or paypal. These dues are Affiliate Membership therefore your Membership dues are fixed regardless of how many members are on your roster. Once dues payment is received, Ohio Alumni Association will process the roster and forward roster and payment to National.
