From Just Food


         1 tablespoon vegetable oil

         1 teaspoon garlic, minced

         1 large onion, sliced

         1 head of broccoli, washed and cut into bite size pieces

         1 cup each of any other cut up fresh vegetables that you like (celery, pepper, cauliflower)

         1 tablespoon soy sauce or Worchester sauce

         1/3 cup water


In a large skillet heat the oil. Whenit is hot add the garlic and onion and cook for about 1 minute. Add broccoli and oter vegtrables. Cook over a medium-hugh heat for about 2 minutes. Add soy or Worchester sauce and the water. Cover pan and cook in liquid until the broccoli is tender but still crispy, about five more minutes. Serve with steamed rice.
