On 7/24/18 I called AMC for a roof leak repair at the suggestion of my handyman of 10 years - he said they had been doing a lot of work in our area. I spoke with Cathy who took all my information, got details on my roof and said she would "put me on the list" to have someone look at it. When I asked for timeframe (due to the fact that the leak is consistent and we are having daily storms), she wouldn't give one but said "should likely be within a week" or as soon as my name came up on the list. It's now 8/3 (10 days later) and I hadn't heard from anyone. I called to find out where my name was on the list and got Cathy on the phone. Her attitude was horrible! First, she claimed she had never talked to me and the earliest they were doing repairs (as opposed to replacements) was September. When I pressed her as to why she would tell me otherwise 10 days ago, her "I don't care" attitude was even more condescending. Apparently, if they don't get to REPLACE your roof (more money for them) they don't want to help. When I told her I was going to go directly to the BBB and report this incident and further pressed about why she would tell me something completely opposite 10 days ago....she actually suddenly found my name on the list! She said she had "texted Andy and he probably just hasn't followed up with you". Horrible phone attitude, horrible follow up, clearly someone who simply doesn't care about her job. If she reflects the service of the company, better off without them. Terribly sad given the fact that someone in the area is recommending them. Meanwhile, I've lost 10 days waiting on a company to show up who clearly never intended to show up at all.
