MAPLE MUSTARD SAUTED RADISHES:

2 bunches radishes, trimmed, and halved

1 tablespoon butter or mild cooking oil

 

Sauce:

1-2 tablespoons maple syrup

2 teaspoons mustard

1 garlic clove, minced

1-2 tablespoons oil

Salt and pepper to taste

Dash of cayenne pepper (if desired)

 

Combine all sauce ingredients in a separate bowl and set aside. Heat oil in medium saut pan on medium high heat. Add radishes once hot and let simmer without stirring for a few minutes until one side starts browning. Stir to evenly cook radishes, about 3 minutes more. Once radishes are browned slightly but still crunchy add sauce to the pan and stir to coat. Serve immediately.
